All submitted pictures will be judged by a Canadian jury. The top 10 pictures selected by this jury will be submitted to the international Wiki Loves Earth jury.
Criteria
The criteria used by the Canadian jury are the following:
- Technical quality: sharpness, use of light, perspective, etc.
- Originality: including angle of view, uniqueness, and choice of the subject
- Usefulness of the pictures for Wikimedia projects: is the picture useful to illustrate a Wikipedia article
