Fundraising banner

Here is a first draft of the possible fundraising banner discussed in the meeting:

Wikimedia Canada is the duly recognized Canadian Chapter of the Wikimedia movement. It does not receive regular funding from the Wikimedia Foundation. It still needs funding for general operations, and to develop projects of interest to Canadians. Wikimedia Canada's projects may be viewed [here], and its financial statement [here]. Wikimedia Canada's application to be a recognized charity under Canadian law awaits approval; it cannot yet issue receipts to support charitable donations tax credits. But it can accept your donations at [here].
