Activities
[edit]On January 28 and 29th a number of GLAM professionals, academics and community members met for discussion and instruction on the potential role of the Wikimedia projects to support work in the area of Indigenous culture and language. After a brief introduction, Benoit Rochon lead a discussion on the Atikamekw knowledge project and his involvement with the community. The morning also included a panel discussion by Dr. Greg Younging and Camille Callison on UNDRIP and on how to consider Indigenous knowledge structures in information work and writing.
