2020-001 Hiring of Atypic for fundraising[edit]

The Board resolved that Jean-Philippe Béland, as independant contractor, will hire the services of Atypic to develop a fundraising plan for Wikimedia Canada from the remaining of the budget allocated to his contract in 2019.

Resolved by the Board on 3 February 2020.

2020-002 Payment for the Institutional Advancement Manager Contractor[edit]

The Executive Committee resolved to pay the invoice for January 2020 of the Jean-Philippe Béland as independant contractor as Institutional Advancement Manager for a total of 6,668.55 CAD.

Resolved by the Executive Committee on 2 March 2020.

2020-003 Payment for the Institutional Advancement Manager Contractor[edit]

The Executive Committee resolved to pay the invoice for February 2020 of the Jean-Philippe Béland as independant contractor as Institutional Advancement Manager for a total of 9,473.74 CAD.

Resolved by the Executive Committee on 2 March 2020.

2020-004 Payment for the Institutional Advancement Manager Contractor[edit]

The Board resolved to pay the invoice for April 2020 of the Jean-Philippe Béland as independant contractor as Institutional Advancement Manager for a total of 1,931.58 CAD.

Resolved by the Board on 11 May 2020.

2020-005 Payment for the Project Weather Observations of the Meteorological Service of Canada in Wikimedia Projects Executant Contractor[edit]

The Board resolved to pay the invoice for December 2019 to March 2020 from Pierre Choffet as independant contractor as executant for the Project Weather Observations of the Meteorological Service of Canada in Wikimedia Projects for a total of 19,350,00 CAD.

2020-006 Amendment of the "Statement of Purpose" of Wikimedia Canada[edit]

The Board resolved to amend the "Statement of Purpose" of Wikimedia Canada with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (Industry Canada) as suggested by the Canadian Revenue Agency in order to obtain the charity status as followed: "To collect, develop and disseminate knowledge and other open source educational, cultural and historic content and information resources in all languages of Canada, including Aboriginal languages, either electronic or printed, under a free licence or in the public domain, through the collaborative effort of users, for benefit of the public." The Board further resolved to pay the associated cost of 200.00 CAD to amend the "Statement of Purpose" with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (Industry Canada).
