When to use?

These templates seem interesting, but there could be a useful discussion around when the different parameters are applied. It would be wasteful if the only thing that these templates accomplished were to make the pagers look pretty. Thus for policy pages it would be helpful to know if it is a directors' or a wiki policy, and whether it has been adopted or is only under consideration. Eclecticology 16:55, 24 February 2011 (MST)

In fact, I wanted to use {{Policy red}} elsewhere, but it was not malleable enough for my needs. In any cases, this kind of boxes can be very useful in many situations, and only ONE template is needed. But as you mentionned, instead of having a color chart for "info", "Important" and "attention", we can have only a chart for "adopted" and "under consideration" policies... sky is the limit!
