WikiConference North America 2021[edit]
In the Announcements period I will bring this up:
- I am one of the organizers of the upcoming WikiConference North America to be held online in October 8-10, 2021
- We have grant funding from the WMF and some active committees making plans
- We are committed to making translation/interpretation available, somehow, so that presenters can speak in French or Spanish and be translated to English and vice versa to the extent possible.
- We need more Canadians to participate in making the conference good!
- Much is easy. Can you help us translate our call-for-presentations and friendly-space policy? We plan to have those on http://wikiconference.org soon.
- Can we get a little help to get our announcements out, and to help select presentations for the program?
- We also have to work out the logistics of platforms and interpretation; we'd love help with that.
- We have meetings each Monday evening, and you don't have to commit to anything to tune in to a meeting.
