Discussion[edit]

Story telling[edit]

Benoit Rochon mentions that he met with the responsible people for the grants from the WMF who are asking Wikimedia Canada for more "story telling" in its reports and not only numbers for metrics. He proposes to publish on the blog of the WMF which will be more read than Wikimedia Canada's activity report. He shares an example and a template of blog post.

Marie D. Martel proposes to organize ourselves and to have an objective, for example one article per month. Benoit Rochon proposes to put in place a calendar where we can volunteer to write a blog post one after the other.

Benoit Rochon will write a blog post for the Francophone Contribution Month.

Members of the Committee outside of the Board[edit]

Benoit Rochon proposes to include people from outside the Board on the Programs Committee. Jean-Philippe Béland reminds the Committee that the Board decided that all committees must only include members of the Board; we would need a decision of the Board before we can do it. The Programs Committee agreed with the idea. Benoit Rochon will launch a Board decision by email.
