Logo de BAnQ Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) is the first GLAM institution in Canada to collaborate with Wikimedia projects. Since January 2014, BAnQ is hosting regular Wikipedia workshops. It has been involved in many projects to upload pictures to Wikimedia Commons and to add content to Wikisource in French. BAnQ is donating a free office space to Wikimedia Canada within the Gilles-Hocquart Building in Montreal, Quebec. See BAnQ's GLAM page on French Wikipedia.
The Association francophone pour le savoir (Acfas) is a nonprofit organization with the mission to promote the scientific activity, to stimulate research and to disseminate knowledge in French. It is a partner of the "Mardi c'est Wiki" workshops and the International Francophone Contribution Month since January 2014.
The Fondation Lionel-Groulx (FLG) is a nonprofit organization which the first mission is to promote knowledge and teaching of the history of Quebec and the French presence in America. It is a partner of the "Mardi c'est Wiki" workshops and the International Francophone Contribution Month since January 2014. In 2019, the FLG hired a Wikipedian-in-residence.
Library and Archives Canada (LAC) is a federal government institution that preserves and makes accessible the documentary heritage of Canada, and serves as the continuing memory of the Governement of Canada and its institutions. In 2019, BAC and Wikimedia Canada signed an over-arching agreement to work together in making Canada's documentary heritage more accessible to Canadians and people around the world.
