  WMCA at the pow wow of Manawan
On August 19 and 20, immediately after Wikimania in Montreal, a Wikimedia Canada delegation was invited to the pow wow of Manawan. The objective was to publicize the Wikimedia movement and the all-new Wikipetcia Atikamekw Nehiromowin. For the occasion, the WMCA delegation distributed more than two hundred Wikimania Montreal and Wikisource t-shirts, macaroons and other promotional items. Invitations to the microphone were able to attract a large number of people to the kiosk where images of the Atikamekw project were being projected. |
