  Ligua Libre: Recording Atikamekw language
For the first time, the Atikamekw language has been recorded for the Wikimedia projects using the project Lingua Libre. More than 200 words have been recorded in the three different dialects of Atikamekw during Wikimania 2017 in Montreal, Quebec. The audio files will be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons and used in Wikimedia projects, mainly the French Wiktionnary (see and listen to an example).
