Volunteering

Wikimedia Canada has no employees; all of its projects and office work is done by volunteers. There are no active projects for which Wikimedia Canada is currently looking for new volunteers, but we are always looking for new projects and are open to new ideas. You can propose ideas for projects on our discussion board, discuss projects in development on our project incubator page, or discuss active projects on our project page. You can also attend general meetings by becoming a member. If you would like to get announcements about events in your area, you can sign up for our mailing list or like our Facebook page. If you want to be on our list of potential volunteers, send an email to Jean-Philippe Béland. Include your real name and city as well as what you are interested in doing and any other relevant information. You may also want to add your name to the participants list.
