Scope

This document describes a program of Wikimedia Canada for each volunteer to recruit & mentor a new volunteer by the year end of 2013.

Overview

This program is to encourage each volunteer of Wikimedia Canada to recruit one new member and mentor them to be a contributing volunteer of Wikimedia Canada. Recruiting a contributing volunteer is critical for renewal in the organization and to bring in fresh perspectives. Further, we require more support to grow the organization and have further success in our mission. Ultimately, it is the pool of contributing volunteers from which new board members are elected, making this program essential for the future leadership of the chapter.
