Regulatory requirements[edit]

Does anyone know what regulatory requirements the Government of Canada places on Wiki Canada with respect to maintenance, retention and disclosure of the members list? I was reading on the Wiki UK page that they are required to both disclose the names and addresses of member as well as retain this record for 10 years. Alan.ca 23:06, 29 January 2011 (MST)

Do not know but will look into it. --Doc James 01:21, 30 January 2011 (MST)
This document [1] does not list this as one of the requirements. --Doc James 19:54, 22 February 2011 (MST)
A company must maintain a record of its members. Any member of the corporation has the right to access the list of members (Section 111.1 of the old act, Section 23 of the new Act.) This is an essential right for allowing members to influence votes of members. Eclecticology 14:55, 23 February 2011 (MST)

Payment[edit]

I noticed the method of payment section is blank and that it states "No new application for membership shall be received without the payment of fees." Mkdw (talk) 17:17, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
