English: Notre-Dame Basilica is one of Canada's oldest basilicas. Its Gothic architecture is among one of the most dramatic in the world, with beautiful exterior and interior design. The main construction of the Basilica took place between 1824 and 1829 and was designated as a National Historic Site of Canada in 1989, 160 years after its construction. Nowadays, Notre-Dame Basilica is among one of the most visited historic sites in all Quebec and Canada. This picture despicts the upper part of the Basilica along with another builiding on it's right Français : La Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal est un des basiliques les plus vieux au Canada. Son architecture gothique est parmi un des plus dramatique dans le monde, avec une conception magnifique, tant à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur. La Basilique Notre-Dame a été construite entre 1824 et 1929, et se fait officiellement reconnaître comme étant un lieu historique national en 1989, 160 ans après sa construction. De nos jours, la Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal figure parmi les sites historiques les plus visités, au Québec tout comme au Canada.
