Expense approvals

• The Executive Committee unanimously moved to approve and pay the bill for November from Jean-Philippe Béland for a total of $5,357.84.
• The Executive Committee unanimously moved to approve and pay the bill for October and November from Pierre Choffet for the ECCC Project for a total of $6,232.83.
• The Executive Committee unanimously moved to approve and pay the bill for October from Pierre Choffet for IT support for a total of $80.00.

Old Business

• Charity status. Nothing new to report.
• Signatories of the bank account. It will be proposed at the next Board meeting to reduce the number of signatories of the bank account of Wikimedia Canada to two.
• Guaranteed placement. A guaranteed placement was made for Wikimedia Canada.
• Mailing lists for the committees. Nothing new to report.

New Business

• 2019 Budget. An update of the 2019 Budget was presented to the Executive Committee.
• Services of an external firm for fundraising. We received propositons from a few different firms for consultation about fundraising and communications. The firm Atypic was chosen. A few Board members met them. We had a few reservations on their capacity to work at a national level and in both official languages, and are waiting for their reply about this. The Executive Committee unanimously moved to hire the services of Atypic for an amount of $20,000.
• APG 2020. The Executive Committee deplores the decision of the Wikimedia Foundation to reduce the budget of Wikimedia Canada's APG 2020 after that the volunteer committee recommended to approve it in its totality. The President will leave a message on the talk page of the APG request. The Executive Committee revised the budget to lower it according to the Wikimedia Foundation's decision.
• WikiConference North America. The Executive Committee noted the need to rapidly create committees and find volunteers. It was proposed to organize a work meeting with interested people in mid-January.
• Wiki Summit. The President was designated to represent Wikimedia Canada at the Wiki Summit in Berlin.

Roundtable

• Michael David Miller mentioned that announcements will be publish soon about #1Lib1Ref.
• Amber Berson mentioned that she may go to Oslo at the meeting about the Wikimedia Strategy to represent Art+Feminism, but can also talk on behalf of Wikimedia Canada since no one is representing the Chapter.
• Jean-Philippe Béland mentioned that he will be less available for the rest of the month.
